About EUNOMIA.AI

EUNOMIA.AI is a three-year European project (July 2026 – June 2029), funded under the Digital Europe Programme. It brings together 33 organisations from 13 EU Member States and Norway, including 30 public administrations, to adopt generative AI (GenAI) in ways that are practical, responsible and trustworthy.

The project will introduce GenAI tools in 25 public administrations and integrate them into at least 15 public services. All tools are built on European open-source models, with infrastructure hosted at the University of Granada and the option for local nodes to ensure data stays where it belongs.

The project directly contributes to the EU’s AI Continent Action Plan and the Apply AI Strategy, supporting the adoption of trustworthy, human-centric AI across the public sector.

One sovereign European GenAI capability.
